Wodonga Catholic College needed a way to give students and staff safe, easy access to the top level of their school grounds. The site had a large sloping area, and the school wanted a solution that avoided major demolition works while still meeting the required standards for safe, accessible movement around the campus.
The area also had an existing fake turf space that the school wanted to keep intact. This meant our team needed to design a custom access ramp that worked with the site, rather than disrupting it. We matched the ramp’s colours to the surrounding areas, so it blended naturally into the school grounds, delivering a safe path without changing the character of the space.
As a commercial ramp installation, the project needed to hold up to daily use from students and staff for years to come, all while protecting the existing turf so it stayed usable throughout the build. We completed the entire installation during the school holidays, working around other upgrades happening on the grounds at the same time and avoiding any major earthworks along the way.
Wodonga Catholic College now has a safe, reliable path to the top level of its grounds, and the surrounding areas remain just as usable and welcoming as before the project began.
